Industrial Ethernet Switches Monitoring Transmission System of Expressway Tunnel

Background

Due to the narrow space, low visibility, complex environment in the tunnel, the security management is difficult. For security, to improve traffic efficiency of tunnel, it is important to build a intelligent monitoring system by using industrial ethernet switches, including fire detector, jet fan, intelligent lightning, signal control, variable information board. When breaking of fire or traffic accident, monitoring system can be used to linkage management center, to evacuate people, upload real situation in the tunnel to help emergency rescue. In addition, set up a control center near to tunnel, for daily management.

Solution

The system need to update and real-time transmit video, broadcast, information and emergency alarm data, a high bandwidth, high-density, and high-reliability network is required in the tunnel. HS network serial server is used to connect with various BUS controller, upload the data collected by sensor real-time, IS2000 industrial ethernet switches are used to converge data of video, broadcast, and alarm light, by means of fiber ports and IS3000 industrial ethernet switches to form a GE fiber looped network. For convenience of whole network monitoring and troubleshooting, the communication network used HouShi Network PVRP industrial management software.
